Biography
Ke Wang

Ke Wang is currently a candidate for his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Bienen School of Music, Northwestern University, under the instruction of James Giles. By 2021, Wang had completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Juilliard School, under the guidance of Matti Raekallio and Jerome Lowenthal. His versatile musicality is also recognized by his endeavor as a collaborative pianist at the Juilliard School, Bienen School of Music, DePaul School of Music, and as an instructor at the Music Institute of Chicago.

Since 2023, Ke Wang has achieved numerous awards, including the Bienen School of Music Concerto/Aria Competition, the Thaviu-Isaak Piano Scholarship Competition, the Evanston Music Clue Scholarship Competition, the Prize Antena 2/SIPO in Portugal, and the Concurso de Piano Pedro Espinosa in Spain. Notable moments in his solo performance career include performances in Bangkok, Bayreuth, Maiori, New York, Osaka, and various large cities across China.

He has embarked on numerous chamber tours, showcasing his unique arrangements and original compositions on prestigious stages. Wang’s artistry has complemented performances with world-leading conductors and orchestras, including the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, the Shanghai Philharmonic, the Shanghai Opera House Orchestra, and the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra.
