Lucía Colom

Lucia Colom, born on September 13, 1985, in Spain, has a distinguished ballet career that spans across Europe. Her foundational training at Carmen Roche SCAENA from 1996 to 2002 led to her studies at the Real Conservatorio Madrid “Mariemma” from 2002 to 2004. She participated in performances such as Raymonda, La Bella Durmiente, and “Pas de Trois” from Swan Lake under the guidance of choreographers like Nacho Duato and Tony Fabre.

Lucia has performed in several renowned ballet companies, including Landestheater Coburg since 2016, where she took on significant roles such as Alice in Alice in Wonderland, the Sugar Plum Fairy in Mark MacClain’s Nutcracker, Giselle in Jaume Costa’s Giselle, Princess Tsarevna in Firebird, and Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. Her own choreographic works include “Tango” set to Piazzolla and “Lucia’s Ballet Suite” composed by Josep Colom.

In 2015, she danced with the Ballet de Nice and Theater Hof, performing roles such as Stella Kowalsky in A Streetcar Named Desire and Edith Piaf in Piaf, l’Amour, la Vie, la France. From 2007 to 2012, she worked with Ballet Rossa / Oper Halle, performing soloist roles in productions like The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Snowqueen, and The Blue Bird.

Lucia’s international experience includes performances with the Cork City Ballet, Leipziger Ballett, English National Ballet, Compañía de Danza Juan Carlos Santamaria, and Junior Ballet in Zurich. Her career is a testament to her versatility and commitment to ballet, both as a performer and choreographer.
