A native New Yorker, Martin Jacobs began piano lessons with Mary Jo Pagano at Third Street Music School Settlement. Study continued at the Juilliard Pre-College, and then in the Juilliard conservatory, studying with Julian Martin. He completed his Master of Music at the Université de Montreal in April 2017, studying with Paul Stewart and Maneli Pirzadeh. Martin was awarded first prize in the Concours de concertos de l’OUM 2017, performing Prokofiev Piano Concerto No 2. Martin enjoys a wide range of repertoire, with extensive experience in chamber music and vocal collaboration.
